The four bedroom, two bathroom house situated on 49 acres at 261 Jamberoo Mountain Road, was sold by Elders Real Estate in February 2017.
Kiama Councillors unanimously voted to support the demolition of the existing dwelling and construction of a principal dwelling, secondary dwelling, shed and swimming pool at the October 16 meeting.
The proposed development is estimated to cost $700,000.
Council also approved the staged development of six dwellings across three individual lots and community title subdivision of the dwellings at 50-54 Lilly Pilly Way, Kiama.
It is estimated the development will cost $1.931 million.
