The competition marks the first officially sanctioned World Skate world championships and acts as an important marker on the road to skateboarding’s debut in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Woolley’s invitation comes on the back of a successful year, highlighted by his winning of the Illawarra Mercury Tobin Family Award for most outstanding Illawarra Academy of Sport athlete.
The Corpus Christi student is currently in the USA where he recently competed in the HotWheels Junior Open.
Competing in the advanced division, Woolley finished second in the mini ramp competition, third in vert and fourth in the street event.
The world championships will commence on October 31, with Woolley to see his first competitive action on November 2.
