Surfing NSW has awarded scholarships to Cooper Collinge, Tahlia Collinge, Keegan Willets, Max Bullen, Tom Feneley and Bayley Daniels.
The South Coast Surfing Academy Program is offered in partnership with Surfing NSW and the South East Sports Academy, and aims to develop high performance surfers in the local community.
The program provides surfers with skill assessment and development, education, strength and conditioning, personal development and surfing event based experiences.
The 2018/19 program involves a two-tier squad structure consisting of a Development Squad and a High Performance Squad ‘Pro Junior Program’.
The first monthly commitment involves both squads coming together for a compulsory two-day camp at Jindabyne on October 27-28.
