Following Glady's courageous decision to emblazen our national and cultural icon with the worlds biggest gambling ad, I wrote to Paliamentary Secretary for Illawarra and South Coast and local member for Kiama with a great idea of my own.
I'm thinking of using a state of the art lighting platform I've developed to pitch an idea to Ladbrokes to splash their logo on the iconic Kiama Lighthouse on Boxing Day to help them promote their Sydney to Hobart betting odds as the yachts sail past our stretch of the coast.
Would be good for the economy.
But, Gareth Ward, I need your help. Please think of the economy and help me by tapping into Gladys' vital connections throughout the gambling industry to help this great innovation come to life.
I mean, sure, the idea slightly compromises the integrity of our culturally and historically significant local icon, but think of the short term cash it could inject into gambling companies coffers! What a win that would be...
Thank you Gareth for your consideration.
AJ, Gerringong
