Local gallery owner, arts administrator, art history educator and writer, Andrea Hope, has discovered many prominent artists who lived and worked in the area in the early days, including Conrad Martens, Eugene Von Guerard and Georgina Lowe.
Ms Hope has many stories to tell, as well as images to share.
The illustrated talk will take place on Saturday, September 22 at 1pm, at the Gerringong RSL Hall on the corner of Fern and Belinda Streets, Gerringong.
Visitors are most welcome, with a gold coin donation entry. Afternoon tea will follow, and then a general meeting of the society.
