Six decades of fast jets will be on show when HARS Aviation Museum holds its monthly tarmac days at the Illawarra Regional Airport at Albion Park.

The six jets, covering six decades of service with the RAAF are a Vampire trainer, Sabre jet, Canberra bomber, supersonic Mirage fighter and an impressive F-111C strike bomber.
They are some of the more than 40 aircraft of significance to Australia’s aviation heritage which are on show where, unlike most aviation museums, visitors are encouraged to climb aboard many.

2018 Australian Flyball Championships
The annual Flyball National competition is the premier event in the Flyball calendar and attracts teams from clubs all over Australia.
With the growth of the sport it is envisaged the 2018 event could attract around 50 teams with an estimated 400 participants and 300 dogs of all breeds and speeds.
Hosted by the Wollongong Wonder Woofs Flyball Club, the event is being held across three days with racing for single dogs, pairs of dogs, beginners singles, open and veterans classes on Friday, followed by the main regular class teams racing on Saturday and Sunday. Final Championship runoffs are on Sunday afternoon.

Gerringong Village Markets
Markets showcasing locally produced art, craft, food and entertainment.
This is a Gerringong Sunrise Rotary fundraising event for local and international projects.

Kiama Youth Markets
Get along to the Kiama Youth Markets at SENTRAL Youth Centre in Hindmarsh Park.
There will be market stalls, tasty food, raffles and live music for you to enjoy. All funds raised will go towards Beyond Blue.

Tours conducted by owners Wesley and Vicki Hindmarsh will reveal beautiful original cedar doors, detailing and furniture.

Steel City Strings present Serenades and Dances
Following the sellout success of the last program, Steel City Strings will be joined by guitar virtuoso Aleksandr Tsiboulski for the final program for 2018.
Aleksandr will be performing two exciting works, including:
- Ross Edwards' Arafura Dances - Concerto for Guitar & Strings, with its joyous rhythms echoing the birdsong and insects, as well as the serenity, of Arnhem Lands; and
- Boccherini's Fandango for guitar and strings providing the other foot tapping dance in the program.

Kiama Seaside Markets
Spend the day in Kiama and browse through the popular seaside craft market. Inspect the array of country craft, artisan and antique ware on display, as well as bric-a-brac, collectibles, plants and beautiful homemade items.

Group Seven grand finals
Jamberoo’s Women’s League Tag division one team take on the Kiama Knights in Sunday’s grand final – 1.10pm, Collegians Sporting Complex.
The Kiama Knights will attempt to claim their first premiership in the top grade since 1985 when they battle Shellharbour City Sharks in Sunday’s decider – 4pm, Collegians Sporting Complex.
Shoalhaven Football Association grand final
The Gerringong Breakers will take on Bomaderry in next Saturday’s Shoalhaven Football Association grand final.
