Ruan Sims named to make Roosters debut against Broncos

SYDNEY Roosters women’s coach Adam Hartigan has named his 21-player squad, featuring Gerringong’s Ruan Sims, ahead of Friday's clash with the Brisbane Broncos at Allianz Stadium.

There have been a couple of changes to the side this week, following the Roosters opening round loss to the Warriors 10-4, in both the starting front and backline. 

Ruan Sims is set to make her Sydney Roosters debut in the front row, while Sharon McGrady will make her debut on the wing.

Karina Brown shuffles to the fullback position and Botille Vette-Welsh comes out of the 17.

Captain Simaima Taufa has been named in the reserves and will look to prove her fitness ahead of kick off.
