Around 40 riders participated in the first ride along the Wingello State Forest Horse Riding Trails, a network of permanently marked tracks ranging from 7km to 45km through natural bush and plantation forest.
The project was driven by Rebecca Hogan from New-Moon Stud and was funded by the NSW Sport and Forestry departments.
The honourable Pru Goward attended to help unveil the trackhead sign and riders enjoyed coffee and cake from Snax on Trax coffee before setting out for a ride.
