Tanya’s Rebels hope to defend their Kiama Softball Association title, as they play Diamond Divas in the grand final on Saturday.
They know the drill – Rebels and Divas have faced one another at the grand final for three consecutive seasons.
Divas, who go in as underdogs, unable to steal the title from the Rebels in previous seasons, look forward to a competitive game.
“Tanya’s Rebels are a strong batting side, all of their girls are seasoned players,” association president Pam Gehrmann said.
The premiership match will take place at Chapman Oval at 12.45pm on Saturday.
Supporters including family members, friends and players from other teams will show up to cheer on players and watch the game unfold.
The women's social softball competition has been established for more than 35 years.
If you would like to attend the association’s upcoming annual presentation night at Kiama Golf Club on September 15 at 6.30pm, please contact the association via Facebook ASAP.
