We will be very busy over the next few weeks and our BBQ will be in action for a lot of it. Last Friday a number of Lions cooked the Father's Day breakfast for St Peter and Paul's school. This coming Sunday we have the Hot Rod Show at Black Beach. The following Thursday we will be in action at Bunnings which will be followed by the Sunday market where we will have the caravan and our BBQ will also be there as well.
A number attended the funeral of Adam Regal. A few years ago we held a Sportsman's lunch at the Sebel with Peter FitzSimons as guest speaker. This was a fundraiser for Adam and his family.
The carers cottage progress continues with the front deck completed. Sadly the weather precluded the concrete pour on the 25th so this was postponed for a week. In the meantime our lady advisers have been procuring fixtures and fittings. We will hope to have a grand opening in early October; that will be dependent on the availability of our mystery VIP.
