A warning for hazardous surf continues on Tuesday, while some much needed rain is forecast for the end of the week.

Showers expected across Friday, Saturday and Sunday could bring up to 44 millimetres of rain.
Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Anita Pyne told Fairfax Media the promising combination is a low-pressure trough moving across NSW and a high-pressure system that will set up in the Tasman Sea.
"The instability comes from the trough and the moist tropical air stream comes from the high pressure system," she said.
Though we’re not to get any false hopes up but Ms Pyne said their fingers were crossed the weather would help ease the big dry.
Weatherzone meteorologist Joel Pippard said the rain event appears unlikely to be an east coast low, which would typically linger near the coast and bring heavy rain and strong winds.
He said areas on the north-east of the NSW coast and adjacent to the ranges could get as much as 100 millimetres.
Ms Pyne said winds which have exacerbated many fires along the coast should start easing Tuesday afternoon.
"I think there will be a lot less [rain] inland in the southern parts of the state," she added.
