FOUR Warilla-Lake South Gorillas’ players have been found guilty of breaching the Group Seven Rugby League code of conduct, following an ugly brawl against the Stingrays of Shellharbour earlier this month.

Gorillas halfback Emanuel Sultana and forward Jake Davison were both given two week suspensions at the special Group Seven judiciary hearing on Tuesday evening.
With time served both are now free to play this weekend.
Team mates Nick and Jaiden King were also charged with code of conduct breaches but had their sentencing adjourned until Wednesday evening, when the three cited Stingrays of Shellharbour players Guy Rosewarn, Nikita Drew and Patrick Woodley front the judiciary.
The judiciary panel will determine the sentence of the three Stingrays and two Gorillas tonight at the Kiama Leagues Club from 6.30pm.
The incident, currently being investigated by Lake Illawarra Police, originally started on the field between the Gorillas and Stingrays at Cec Glenholmes Oval on August 5, with Nick King and Drew sent from the field by referee Ryan Micallef.
The incident escalated off the field after the full-time siren, with a brawl erupting in the crowd as the players left the field.
