Kiama Tennis Club is fast becoming the premier tennis club on the South Coast, providing a vast array of member events and social opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

Each Tuesday morning an average of 24 men "do battle" at the Noorinan Street courts on Stead Reserve, followed by a coffee and cake.

With an ageing population, retirees are encouraged to participate in regular active exercise and Bruce Ryan, 81, Alan Hansell, 77, and Bob Morgan, 76, are testament to good health through regular exercise – in this case regular social tennis.

Bruce Ryan has just completed his latest book ‘Dream Walkers’, which recounts the journey of two friends walking from Paris to Madrid in 1926.

Alan Hansell worked for IMB and still has interests in IT consultancy.

Robert ‘Mr Tennis’ Morgan is planning his tournament schedule for the next couple of months and includes the NSW Senior Championships at Pennant Hills in October.

Women are encouraged to participate in Wednesday morning mixed doubles social tennis organised by board member Jackie Parker.

New players are very welcome and can contact KTC on 42322431or by visiting their website.
