Police are searching for a masked male who held-up a Gerringong bottle shop while armed with a knife on Tuesday night.

The male, whose face was covered, entered the bottle shop on Blackwood Street about 6.30pm.
“He’s entered the store, where he’s made various demands and left with a sum of cash,” Lake Illawarra police Inspector Paul Allman said.
No one else was inside the bottle shop at the time, Inspector Allman said.
Further details about the male’s age and description have not yet been released by police.
Lake Illawarra detectives are investigating the incident and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
