The event held at Gerringong Town Hall was sold out and everyone enjoyed the choir, the Village Big Band and lots of dancing.
Guests contributed to our cause on the night by putting money into the money tins on the tables and Katandra donated a significant amount from the ticket sales as well as paying for CMRI catering services. This generous support by everyone involved means that Children’s Medical Research Institute Gerringong Committee can fund the ongoing research into childhood illnesses, especially ProCan. Since 2016 scientists have been working towards significantly increasing the speed and precision of cancer diagnosis and providing treatment programmes. ProCan’s 2022 target is to have a cancer patient’s treatment commence within 36 hours of diagnosis.
Thank you, Katandra, the Village Big Band and all of the generous music and dance lovers who attended. CMRI Gerringong Committee is constantly delighted and grateful for our amazing community support.
