Kiama Library invites enthusiastic local knitters to join the annual knit-in event on Thursday, August 2 for the charity ‘Wrap with Love’.

Throughout 2017, volunteers across the country have so far knitted and sewed more than 25,837 wraps which were distributed to those in need all around the world; including 4000 in Australia, 2000 to Armenia and 600 each to Sierra Leone and Cambodia.

Organised in partnership with the Knitters Guild NSW Inc, Kiama Group, our Knit In will run from 10.30am until 12 noon with a delicious free morning tea provided.
Needles and yarn will be supplied however keen knitters are welcome to bring their own knitting supplies. Size 8 (4mm) needles and 8-ply yarn are recommended.
Finished squares and donations of yarn can be dropped off at Kiama Library on the day or at any time throughout the year.
