Halinka Orszulok is the resident Tai Chi (or Lohan Qigong) instructor on Friday mornings. The practise is adaptable to all physical abilities and increases the vitality of the body’s energy by using movement and breathing together.
Halinka said the peaceful environment at Jamberoo was very helpful.
“I love that locals can walk to class so they get the extra benefit and are beautifully warmed up by the time they arrive,” she said.
Tai Chi is suitable for people who are experiencing a decline in balance but equally beneficial to younger folk who do the exercises with higher energy and deeper stretching.

Kate Armstrong has recently extended her Pilates and Yoga fusion classes from her studio in Bulli to include Monday evenings at Jamberoo.
Internationally trained, Kate encourages the class to keep flexible, strong and mobile through the cooler months using yoga asanas, core strengthening exercises and stretches.
Using the precision of pilates and flexibility of yoga, she has a range of programs which can be tailored to individual needs.
Yoga for Surfers is expected to be a popular substitute to the real thing to keep up fitness over winter and vocal toning workshops can help free the natural voice, enhance breath and relaxation and improve posture and balance.
