Wild winds wreaked havoc across the South Coast on Friday night, which made a busy night for the SES.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, winds picked up late Friday afternoon and at 8pm wind gusts of 100km/h hit Kiama.
Gusts of 76km/h hit Nowra at 4am on Saturday morning while Ulladulla had gusts of up to 67km/h.
NSW SES volunteers attended a total of 124 jobs in the Illawarra South Coast region from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning.
More than 25 crews attended incidents across the region, including two storm jobs at Nowra, two jobs at St Georges Basin, three jobs at Ulladulla and 14 jobs in Kiama.
While the winds have died down on Saturday, they are set to pick back up on Sunday.
Westerly winds of 35 to 50km/h are expected along the south Coast on Sunday before easing on Monday.
With the windy weather still around, the NSW State Emergency Service advises that people should:
- Move vehicles under cover or away from trees.
- Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
- Keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised, such as fences.
- Report fallen power lines to either Ausgrid on 131 388, or Endeavour Energy on 131 003 or Essential Energy on 132 080, as shown on your power bill.
- For emergency help in floods and storms, ring your local SES Unit on 132 500.
