Now in it’s third year of operation, owners and husbands Jamie Cole and Bruce Ferguson, have established the Art Bar as one of the cultural hubs of the Illawarra. Home to weekly live music events, including a program of experimental jazz music from graduates of the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music, a vibrant art-scene, and an ever-changing and sophisticated menu, wine and cocktail list. The Art Bar has become a hub for friends, locals and new-comers to meet and network.
“Jamie’s exhibition explores everything that is our little cultural gem in Kiama,” Mr Ferguson said.
Through pop-surreal eyes, Jamie has ‘popped’ the music, the people, the food and the art all over the walls of the Art Bar. Paying homage to some of the Art Bar’s favourite exhibitions and artists, drinks, dishes and staff.
Official opening: Saturday June, 9 at 3-6pm.
Free entry, all are welcome.
