Steve Stanis, senior minister of KAC for the last nine years said there were pressing needs in care of the growing numbers of older people and young families in the Kiama community.
“We are extremely excited to have Tracey and Geoff join our ministry team to support these groups,” he said.
Geoff and Tracey Piggott have spent six years living underground in the desert in Coober Pedy, South Australia.
"We worked in the Catacomb Church which is one of a number of underground churches dug out of the side of hills,” Geoff said.
“I loved introducing Tracey as my ‘cave woman’. We loved showing tourists from all over the world what it was like to live underground.
“We are thrilled to be part of KAC, overwhelmed by their warm welcome and care of us and each other.”
