Murphy and her team mates Corey Wedlock and Ben Twist, with Steve Glasson as coach, won seven of their 14 matches, at the Naenae Bowling Club in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
By scoring 143 points, while conceding 161, the Lions finished fifth at the end of the group stage – just missing out in the semi-finals.
In the end, BPL07 was won by Club Helensvale Gold Coast Hawks, who edged out the Moreton Bay Brisbane Pirates 5-3 7-7 in the final.
