Six people injured in head-on crash at Dunmore

Six people, including a number of children, have been taken to hospital after two cars collided head-on at Dunmore on Monday morning.

Emergency services – including five ambulances – responded to the crash on Swamp Road, near the northbound on-ramp to the Princes Highway, about 11.30am.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said a 17-year-old girl with a broken wrist was among those assessed by paramedics at the scene.

A six-year-old boy was assessed for chest pain caused by his seatbelt, along with a five-year-old girl suffering head pain.

Two girls, aged 12 and 14, were also assessed, the spokesman said.

Six patients were taken to Shellharbour Hospital, all with minor injuries.

No one was trapped in either vehicle.
