Autumn is a special time for the region. It’s festival time - there’s an abundance of Easter events, art shows, live music, parades, performances and more happening all up and down the coast. From the Celtic festival in Berry to Wings Over Illawarra, there’s so much to experience.
Read the autumn edition of the South Coast Leisure Times online.
Ulladulla’s famous Blessing of the Fleet presents a day of rich Italian tradition. The town will be filled with colourful floats and a procession from the princesses.
As the weather starts to cool down, it’s a great time to head indoors and appreciated the wealth of talented artists on the coast. The Wollongong Art Gallery, Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Shoalhaven City Arts Centre have a number of exhibitions running over the autumn period.
If you’d still like to make the most of the great outdoors, we have details of some outdoor fun to be had in Jervis Bay you might like to explore and Granties Maze in Foxground is sure to keep the kids entertained for hours with a record number of attractions. There’s plenty of activities and workshops to keep the children occupied during the holidays too.
Kiama is a hive of activity during autumn - there’s the KISS Arts Festival, Red Hot Summer Tour and the APB World Bodyboarding Tour event and Surfing NSW Bodyboarding State Titles coming up.
