Book clubs are more popular than ever, and people everywhere are realising the benefits to health and wellbeing.
It’s true, there’s more to book clubs than simply reading outside the square. They lower your stress, sharpen your brain, and boost your emotional intelligence and your understanding of the world. Not to mention all that great food and drink and conversation
And never has there been an easier time to get one started.
Kiama Library’s new book club kit service takes the hassle and expense out of sourcing books each month and provides a great selection of titles to choose from. With a huge variety of popular and prize-winning authors — including, Jane Harper, Liane Moriarty, George Saunders, Kate Atkinson and Anthony Doerr — there is something for everyone.
A full membership allows your club to borrow up to twelve items per year, and is available for just $200 (or around $20 per member, based on ten members). And for clubs that prefer more flexibility in their selection, there’s the casual membership, which allows your club to borrow up to three kits per year for $60.
