Mitch Rein to make Gold Coast Titans debut against New Zealand Warriors

KIAMA Knights product Mitch Rein has been named to make his debut for the Gold Coast Titans, in the club’s trial match against the New Zealand Warriors at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Gold Coast Titans head coach Garth Brennan included the Group Seven product in his his 23-man squad for the match on Saturday, 24 February.

After the decision to rest a number of players last week against Brisbane, Brennan has called upon all fit and available players for the fixture.

New recruits Michael Gordon, Will Matthews and Rein will have their first outing in Titans colours while big names Konrad Hurrell, Ash Taylor, Nathan Peats and Ryan James will have their first hit-out.

The Titans are still missing a hosts of stars incvlduing Jai Arrow (ribs), Anthony Don (shoulder), Morgan Boyle (shoulder), Ryan Simpkins (knee), Jack Stockwell (shoulder), Brenko Lee (knee) Kevin Protor (throat) and Jarrod Wallace (suspension) for the clash.

Kick-off is at 6pm AEDT.
