Hull players, coaches, support crew and a sizeable touring party of fans have set up camp in Kiama, in preparation for the match against Wigan Warriors at WIN Stadium on Saturday.
The team will be conduct a public training session at Mick Cronin Oval, Gerringong from 9.30am on Tuesday, February 6.
On Wednesday, February 7, the players will be at the Farmers Market at Surf Beach from 3pm, where they will be participating in beach activities and games.
On Thursday, February 8, the team will be leading a number of coaching clinics in the area with St George Illawarra Dragons players. That night they will attend the official welcome to Kiama function at The Sebel Harbourside (tickets available by phoning 4232 3322).
After their match against Wigan on Saturday night, the players will return to Surf Beach at 12pm Sunday, February 11 to meet with fans.
The team will then take part in their last local function: the annual Stomping of the Grapes at Crooked River Winery at Gerringong (tickets available by phoning 4234 0975).
“We’ve got a beautiful set-up down there, it’s great for all the boys,” Hull FC captain Danny Houghton said.
“We had a light session today on the green area and all the boys were keen to jump in that rockpool.”
Wigan plays South Sydney and Hull FC plays St George Illawarra in a double-header on February 17.
