Thankfully it didn’t reaching the highs of some of its nearby neighbours in the 40s.
The temperature was 30 at 1.30pm and reached its high at 2.30pm before again dipping back into the high to mid 20s until 7pm.
This was well short of its record January temperature, of 45 on January 18, 2013.
Kiama is heading for 30 degrees Monday, 28 on Tuesday, 23 Wednesday, 24 Thursday, 27 Friday, 26 Saturday and 23 Sunday.
Around the region, Nowra reached a high of 43 on Sunday [it’s record for the month being 45.4 degrees on January 18, 2013]. Out on the coast, Point Perpendicular hit a high of 35 [its January record temperature being 42.1 on January 1, 2006] and Ulladulla 32 [its January record 44.5 degrees on January 18, 2013].
