What seemed to be an endless stream of clubs, brass bands and community groups marched and drove past a street packed with onlookers, who filtered out to the markets.
It was a hot day, and some of the kids in the parade squirted water at the crowd.
Lollies were thrown out to onlookers too.
People were able to thank vital community groups by clapping as they drove past, including the SES, the RFS, the men’s shed, Friends of Blue Haven, Rotary and the Lion’s club.
The markets were a hit, and rides like the bungy trampoline were busy all day.
