The winning bidder will get to take home a scrumptious five kilogram box of cherries.
The proceeds of the auction will be going to Kiama Boomerang Bags to assist the busy community group to purchase supplies so they can create more recycled shopping bags.
This idea was suggested by Yuri Hulak, the markets’ very popular "Apple Guy".
Organisers plan to kick off the fun at 3pm with a "parading and tasting of the cherries" before the auction at 3.30pm in the rotunda at Coronation Park on Wednesday, December 13.
