Tournament favourites and two-time reigning South Pacific singles champion Corey Wedlock and Ray Pearse from Cabramatta have taken out the final of the state Champion of Club Champion Pairs 28 – 8 against Wentworthville Leagues.

“Day one saw the first round of the pairs and the Wiseman Park side won their first game in an extra end, over Alexandria/Erskineville. Then they lost to the Wentworthville Leagues side in the quarter-finals, who made it all the way through, in a very close game,” Bowls coordinator Adam Rodgers said.
“The crowds have been good, especially yesterday, we had about 100, and we probably have about 60 or 70 here today, it’s been pretty successful for our club to hold this event, a huge thing.”
The games will be streamed live on Thursday and Friday.
