Gahlin is not only highly qualified, she is a skilled speaker on the topic of Nefertiti.
Nefertiti was the Chief Royal Wife of the Ancient Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten (c1352-c1336 BC), and together they continue to fascinate.
Gahlin will examine the various roles, including political and cultic, played by Nefertiti and the other royal women of the time, and how these were expressed in stunning artistic representation.
The lecture will be held on Thursday, October 26 from 7.30pm sharp, it is recommended visitors arrive at 7.15pm, Uniting Church Hall in Albert Street, Berry.
Visitors are very welcome. Cost is $25 per person which includes the lecture, wine and delicious sandwiches after the lecture.
