The annual musical event was launched in 1997, it was the brainchild of the late Val Cummings, a member of Jamberoo CWA, to create this showcase of talented musicians and bring opera to Jamberoo Valley.
“Jose Carbo, a 29-year-old baritone, started his career at our very first opera and is now an international star,” Jamberoo CWA publicity officer Ivy Ruhnau said.
“We are delighted that Jose will be performing and sharing this celebration with us.”
Glenn Amer will again take on the role of Opera in the Valley musical director.
This will be a wonderful night of opera on Saturday, November 4 at Jamberoo School of Arts Hall, commencing at 8pm.
Tickets cost $50 and go on sale on Monday, September 18 at Elders Real Estate, Jamberoo 423 23322.
