The race for the club's highest honour, the Dean Blair Memorial Trophy, continues with many athletes in the mix to be crowned the club's most improved athlete for season 2013-14.
The good news from the December zone championships continues with a record 47 Kiama athletes qualifying for the regional championships to be held at Wollongong on the weekend of February 15 and 16.
The full list of qualifiers (Kiama is in region four) is available on the NSW Little Athletics website, under the regional championships link.
A reminder: The Mid South Coast Zone Grand Prix series continues on January 19 with the Lake Illawarra summer carnival held at Myimbarr Sports Complex, Shellharbour. The series then wraps up on Sunday, February 2 with the Shoalhaven gala day.
Both carnivals are a good opportunity to get in some extra competition before the regional championships.
