“I had been in business in Sydney for 12 years and came down to build my parent’s home and from that got two more jobs in the same street and in the end more and more business was coming our way and we decided to set up business in Gerringong,” Mr Stewart said.

Mr Stewart’s MS Building Constructions recently won a swag of awards at the Master Builders Australia awards, taking out for sections to add to the two he won last year.

His company was named winner of the Builder of the Year Residential, Best Contract Home $1 Million - $2 Million, Best Bathroom over $25,000 and Best Kitchen over $25,000, to add to 2012s Best Contract Home $1 Million - $2 Million and Home of the Year.

“I guess it’s recognition that we are doing the right thing and I am probably most pleased for the clients we have built homes for in the past, not just for the extra work this type of recognition generates.

“A lot of credit also goes to our hard working staff, with all 12 deserving special praise,” be added.

Mr Stewart ensures each project is built to a high craftsmanship standard, with a blend of highly skilled and dedicated carpenters, apprentices and sub-contractor tradespersons working together safely and efficiently through to completion.
