Fittingly, the mural created by renowned artist Kane Trait Horspool, features a horse on the southern facing wall of the complex.
Horspool said he created the artwork, named ‘The horse has bolted’, to add to the vibrancy of the Kiama art community and to inspire young up-and-coming artists.
“The mural is a visual adaptation of my interpretation of the area’s agricultural history,” he said.
“The artwork depicts a horse breaking away from its lead and several hands working together to control the horse.”
The work was carried out using acrylic and aerosol paint and was designed specifically for the area, by Horspool.
