You will feel like you're in Provence when you walk through Merribee's lavender paddock, located at Numbaa.
There are 1000 lavender bushes in full bloom and it's a truly magical time at the gardens.
You'll be served a glass of Prosecco on arrival and be able to meander, at your own pace, through the many gardens rooms of Merribee's seven acre property.
High Tea will be served at The Barn at 15 minute intervals throughout the day and will include a selection of delicious pastries and sandwiches, including lavender scones with Merribee's rose petal jam.
If you want to make the day even more special, Merribee's owner Lucy Marshall will be hosting a lavender workshop.
This creative and fun class will run from 9.30am - 12.30pm and will include making two traditional gifts to take home, perfect for Christmas/gift giving – a lavender wreath (that you can keep for many years) and a lavender bottle (a craft from Elizabethan times and used to ward off moths. Also makes a room or linen cupboard smell divine). Class includes the High Tea, workshop tuition, lavender, vine wreath, ribbon and all materials.
High tea only: $45 per person, concession $38 per person (ticket includes a glass of prosecco, high tea, tea/coffee and Eventbrite booking fee).
Children's high tea $15 per child (5-14 years). Free entry for children under five.
