The Kiama/Jamberoo RSL Sub Branch invited all residents to join them at Kiama’s Memorial Arch on Saturday, to remember the sacrifices of all Australian servicemen and servicewomen in defending the country and particularly those who lost their lives in 1917.
Poppies were provided to attendees, while members of various community groups laid wreaths at the base of the memorial arch.
Students from Kiama High School, Isaac Baker and Emilio Goytizolo, spoke at the ceremony.
