The Under 11bs were once again the best performing side for Jamberoo Cricket Club on Saturday as they secured back to back victories against arch rivals Kiama Gold at Keith Irvine Oval.

The visitors finished their innings with a total of 108 as Jamberoo put up an excellent effort in the field. Jamberoo reached the total with ease as they completed their innings at 6/139 and in the process securing 7th position on the ladder.
Will Thomson was awarded man of the match for his top score of 28 as well as being the best bowler with impressive figures of 2/9 off four overs.
Jordan Poole 18 and figures of 1/7 was terrific while Oliver Poole 12 and Marcus Smith 1/10 also stood out for the home side.
The three senior teams endured a tough day at the office with second grade lost their first match on home soil as Lake Illawarra ran out victors by 75 runs at Kevin Walsh Oval on Saturday.
Lake Illawarra won the toss and chose to bat on a lighting fast outfield and were bowled out for 302 in 47.3 overs. Jacob Hudson 2/43, Richard Jason Lewis 2/51 and Adrian Stokes 2/51 played a pivotal role for the Bulls.
Jamberoo couldn’t successfully chase down their opponents total but their innings did contain some great performances from Kyle Stokes 55, Adrian Stokes 31, Shaun Tweed 27* and Scott Harris 20. Jamberoo finished the game at 8/227.
Third Grade experienced a difficult afternoon as Lake Illawarra got the better of them by 162 runs at Morley Park West on Saturday.
The visitors struggled to replicate Lake Illawarra’s huge total of 5/355 as Jamberoo were bowled out for just 193. Ryan Tritton was by far the stand out as he scored a rapid fire 105 from eighth position on the batting card while Josh Dun 1/51, Steve Bruce 1/53 and Shane Grant who scored 21 and took two catches also impressed for Jamberoo.
Jamberoo fourth grade lost their second match of the season as The Rail won by 187 runs at Keith Irvine Oval.
The Rail compiled a mammoth total of 7/282 before the hosts couldn’t get a stable partnership going and were bowled out for 95. Zac Heffernan was the shining light as he top scored with 35, took 1/19 off six overs and finished with two catches. Tom Fogarty was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/23 while Geoff Saunders 1/22, Joel Skeates 1/25 also provided a helping hand.
The Jamberoo/Albion Park Under 14bs combined team fought hard during their five wicket loss to the Black Canaries at Keith Irvine Oval.
Jamberoo/Albion Park constructed a highly competitive score of 7/85 before the Black Canaries chased the total down with seven overs to spare at 5/88.
Jett Presland 16, Andrew Meijer 12 and figures of 1/7, Matt Ockenden 10, Zac Brown1/2 and Hayden Pickering 1/9 all had strong games for the Bulls.
