“This is testament to the hard work and commitment of the members that make up the Board of the KDBC,” Chamber president Marie Beikmanis said.
“They take time away from their own businesses and families to educate, develop and support the growth of local business in the LGA.”
Marie Beikmanis also said that the win was satisfying as it recognises the good work the Chamber is doing.
“The Chamber has always committed to financially supporting many local events and community initiatives and its pleasing to see that we are making an impact,” she said.
The KDBC has partnered with Destination Kiama and Kiama Council to present this year’s New Year’s Eve event which promises fireworks, laser shows, live entertainment, music, food stalls and kids carnival.
“It will be the biggest New Year’s Eve Kiama has ever seen,” Marie said.
