Playing last year’s fourth grade premiers, Gerringong bowled the Kookas out for 72 (Dan Buchanan 2/12, Tony Spain 2/12) and reached the total comfortably 2/73 in 24 overs (Brendan Moore 35no, Paul Peterson 19no).
The Gerringong under 16As (Combined side with Albion Park and Lake Illawarra), restricted Wollongong to 8/174 from their 50 overs (with Hayden Presland taking two important wickets and Fletcher Allerby one) on the first of a two-day match.
The Gerringong under 14As side played against the team they defeated in last year’s under 14B grand final in a two-day match. They bowled Shellharbour out for 66 in a superb bowling display with Marley Matthews (3/9), Ethan Smith (2/4) and Jack Quine (2/5) wiping out the Shellharbour top order with all four top order batsmen getting ducks. Gerringong ended day one 1/21 off 13 overs (Ashton Ward 12no and Tommy Nolan 8).
The Gerringong under 12s side had their first win of the year against Shellharbour White. Gerringong batted first, setting Shellharbour a total of 2/116 off their 30 overs (James Kunkler 17rtno, Oscar Smith 17no). Gerringong were always in control of the match and from then on and bowled Shellharbour out for 45 (Ben Jackson 2/0, Riley Sheppeard and Will Speering both taking 2/5 each).
The Gerringong under 11 Green team had their second win in a row defeating Albion Park Gold. Gerringong scored 4/104 off their 20 overs (Tully Alchin 11no, Patrick Wall 5no) and restricted Albion Park to 8/85 (Tom Cronin 2/8, Patrick Wall 2/11, Jacob Booker 2/12).
The young Gerringong under 11 Gold team lost to Shellharbour White. Gerringong scored 69 off their 20 overs with Shellharbour finishing on 2/126.

Second Grade: Oak Flats v Gerringong at Geoff Shaw Oval.
Fourth Grade: Shellharbour v Gerringong at Keith Hockey Oval (Shellharbour).
