In second grade, Jamberoo made Shellharbour fight hard for their five wicket win at Tom Willoughby Oval on Saturday.
The runners up of the 2016/17 season were bowled out for a competitive 132 on a tough batting track before the home side chased the total down to finish their innings at 5/134.
Jacob Hudson and James Thompson were the standouts for Jamberoo as they scored 25 and 21 respectively and produced respective bowling efforts of 1/22 and 2/49.
Third Grade lost their opening match to Shellharbour by five wickets at Keith Irvine Oval on Saturday.
Jamberoo compiled a total of 124 on a fast and dry outfield before the visitors chased the total with five wickets to spare.
Nick Bruce top scored for Jamberoo with 33 while Ryan Tritton and Sam Rogan both scored 22 before James Ward and Josh Dun produced a solid opening bowling partnership taking 2/25 and 2/34 respectively.
Fourth Grade produced an excellent victory winning by five wickets against the Kookas at Jock Brown Oval
Excellent bowling from Aaron Spears 2/6, James Bullivant 2/14, Keith Whiteman 2/18, Adam Bieldermann 2/21 propelled the Kookas to a modest 132.
Jamberoo was well composed with the bat as man of the match Keith Whiteman top scored with 43*. Raj Joshi 29, James Bullivant 25 were also solid as Jamberoo ended the match with a total of 5/136.
Under 11Bs start their season next week as the combined Jamberoo/Albion Park Under 14Bs succumbed to a 43 run loss to Wollongong who posted 5/97 while Jamberoo scored 7/54.
