From 379 respondents, 90 per cent said they would like to see the plans in motion.
Just four per cent said no, leave it alone, and six per cent wanted to see another development take place on the site.
Kiama Councillor Mark Way was impressed with the amount of interest in the development.
“That’s a tremendous response," he said.
“It just has success written all over it.”
Kiama Council will conduct its own survey to gauge public sentiment.
Cr Way expects council’s survey will reveal similar findings.
“It’ll be a dead-set winner because of the number of people here on the bikes,” he said.
