KIAMA LIONS
Having had such a successful day at the Hot Rod Show, we followed it with another good day at the Second-Hand Saturday last month. Over a hundred cars were registered and lots of attics and garages cleared.
Last weekend we started our Driver Reviver work at Dunmore, so we are expecting a lot of traffic as folks take advantage of the dry weather and school holidays.
The Carers Cottage is starting to look a bit more like a proper cottage as the cladding is attached. We must publicly acknowledge the help of another Gerringong Lion Steve Pottie, who has added his years of experience as a carpenter. Now we are thinking about what the final colours will be! We were also informed this week that CSR Ltd will donate all the gyprock required for the interior, which is much appreciated.
The dinner meeting last week was at the Leagues Club and the first one this month will be at the Jamberoo Pub and will be attended by the District Governor.
