Directed and written by Martin Zandvliet, Land of Mine is set in the days following the surrender of Nazi Germany in May 1945, when prisoners held in Denmark were forced to clear out the millions of landmines planted by Hitler’s army.
Most of the men were only teenagers, with minimal or no training in deactivating explosives.
More than half of them were killed or severely wounded in the cleanup.
The film commences at 8.00pm.
