Perfect conditions for bowls made for high quality matches with 28 teams competing from Kiama, Corrimal, Berry, Huskisson, Fairy Meadow, Windang, Dapto Citz, Oak Flats, Warilla and recently crowned state champions Cabramatta.
Kiama gun Rod Logan teamed up with Windang's Paul Rooke and Warilla's Richard Hambly to take the title with three wins plus 36.
Locals Doug Downton, Steve Rolls and Craig Rolls won a count-back for second with three wins plus 28, 30 ends.
The composite side of Mark Hobbil, Mark Kiss and Kiama’s new recruit Gary Meullish took out third place with three wins plus 28, 28 ends.
Kiama Bowling Club's next tournament is the President’s Open on October 7 – 8.
The pairs competition on the 8th is full but spots are still available in the fours on the 7th.
Spectators will get the opportunity to watch Aussie representative and world champion Karen Murphy in action when she takes part in the competition.

In other club news, Brad Rossiter and Peter Starr won the major/minor pairs title after completing their rain affected final.
Rossiter/Starr defeated Terry Dawson/Rob Dylan 32 – 11.
The mixed pairs competition returns to the greens this weekend, with 2016 champions Gloria Hodgson/Mick Miller looking to make it back-to-back titles.
There was an early round completed earlier in the week with Adam Rodgers/Joan Brownlie defeating George Clowes/Lyn Farrands 27 – 13.
