NSW Greens MLC Jeremy Buckingham has dropped the Earth ball into Kiama to raise awareness of the Adani mine, the biggest coal mine in the world and a potential contributor to global warming.
"The aim of the Earth ball is to remind people that we all live on just one planet and we must protect our climate,” Green’s MP Jeremy Buckingham said.
"Burning coal is the number one cause of climate change, which is why the Greens want a rapid phase-out of coal and a transition to clean, renewable energy.”
Presented by Kiama Greens and Jeremy Buckingham, this family friendly event includes kids activities, face painting and a pop-up café.
