Wilson was runner-up in the junior division, before backing it up with second in the open men’s winning the overall performer of the event award.
But it Cruikshank who finished on top, winning a wildcard into the professional men’s division, before the conditions deteriorated.
Coffs Harbour’s Matt Sullivan won the dropknee division, scoring 14.16 in the final, to beat Scott Kitchen, Corey O’Donnell and Zach Amytage, from Wombarra.
Shauna Gillet was victorious in the women’s event, ahead of Sam Gillet and Tuncurry’s Millie Chalker.
Scott Arena (Umina) bagged himself another NSW bodyboard title taking out the Masters division.
The Central Coast native shone in the smaller conditions to edge in front of Mauricio Abrunhosa, with Kane Picken third.
