KIAMA ROTARY
Kiama Rotarian, Capt Geoff Cole RAN (Ret) delivered the Anzac Day oration at our commemoration dinner last week. Geoff reminded us of the sacrifices made by Australians in service to our nation and protecting our freedoms. He focused on two critical periods during WWI and WWII, namely 1917 and 1942.

The dinner was chaired by fellow Kiama Rotarian and former Naval officer, CMDR John Worstencroft RAN (Ret).
Kiama Rotarians and Kiama Lions helped collect donations during the Dawn Service and Anzac march on Monday. Kiama Rotarians also participated in the Kiama Pipe Band at services in Kiama and Jamberoo. The band is jointly supported by Kiama Rotary and Kiama Lions. A great example of local service clubs working together for the community.
Lest We Forget.

Kiama Mixed Probus
Kiama Mixed Probus meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month in the Auditorium of the Kiama Leagues Club at 11am for 11.30am.
Our “formal” meeting usually ends about midday and a guest speaker then speaks for 40-50 minutes, so that lunch begins about 1pm. Usually we conclude the meeting by around 2:30pm. Our rules expect that members must attend at least 50 per cent of our monthly meetings in any 12-month period.
In addition to our monthly meetings, other outings are arranged by our Entertainment Committee. These include such things as theatre parties, one-day tours, bowling, golf, pizza nights, a walking group and many more. We also arrange a 5 day trip away once each year. All such extra activities are of course voluntary.
