Mahana will screen on Friday, May 5.
Mahana is the story of a rivalry between two Maori families who make their living as shearers around Gisborne, on the east coast of the north island, in the early 1960s.
It stars Temuera Morrison, Akuhata Keefe and Nancy Brunning.
Tickets go on-sale at Gerringong Town Hall at 7.20pm with the film starting at 8pm.
After the film, stay for the Gerringong Pics and Flicks’ famous tea, coffee and cakes ($3) and take the time to discuss the film in a relaxed social atmosphere.
Gerringong Pics and Flicks' yearly membership is $60 and they screen 11 movies annually.
