Angelita Norris, 42,  pleaded guilty to supplying as prohibited drug and taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug in Nowra Local Court on Monday.

She had been identified during a seven-month investigation in which officers obtained evidence relating to the supply of methylamphetamine, amphetamine, cannabis, cocaine and MDMA (ecstasy).

The court heard between 5.15pm and 5.30pm on January 28, 2016 at Worrigee she took part in the supply of .38 grams of methamphetamine and on February 17, 2016 supplied .98g of meth.

Court papers also stated she was present in negotiations to supply 0.5g of meth for $250 and on another occasion spoke to a man about supplying 1g of meth worth $400.

At the time she was on a good behaviour bonds for possessing prohibited drugs, having goods in custody suspected of being stolen and possessing equipment for administering drugs.

Norris was among 20 people charged following raids in Worrigee, Nowra, Ulladulla, Burrill Lake, Kiola, Batemans Bay, Moruya, Surfside and Catalina on May 17-18 last year.

Police executed 12 simultaneous search warrants across the South Coast and Sydney, along with officers from the State Protection Group’s Tactical Operations Unit, in the operation which started in October 2015.

As a result of investigations, officers obtained evidence relating to the supply of methylamphetamine, amphetamine, cannabis, cocaine and MDMA (ecstasy).

Magistrate Gabriel Fleming said there was no alternative to jail and sentenced Norris to 15 months’ jail to be served as an intensive corrections order.

Magistrate Fleming also imposed the conditions Norris not use prescription medication unless prescribed.
